This position will be based in our Rogers, AR sales office with an option for occasional telecommuting. You will be expected to live within a commutable distance.
Join our dynamic team at Gallo as a Category Insights Manager, where you will drive the profitable share growth of our products within assigned Customer Accounts by harnessing the power of shopper behavior analysis, reporting, and storytelling. This role is integral to supporting our Customer Sales Leadership team, helping them understand and leverage assortment analytics to propel the growth of the total alcohol beverage category.
As the Gallo expert on the customer’s shopper behavior systems, you will translate complex data into compelling presentations and actionable insights for our Sales Leadership team. Your expertise will be shared during monthly user group meetings within the supplier community and weekly check-ins with Shopper Behavior Client Leads, where you will highlight concerns and lead training sessions for peer subject matter experts. Building and maintaining a comprehensive database for shopper insights will be key to your success.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with various Gallo Business Units, including Finance, Marketing, Sales, Consumer Insights, E-commerce, and Category Development teams. Your role will involve supporting product line reviews and promotional planning by providing in-depth shopper behavior data analysis. Additionally, you will participate in monthly and quarterly ROI meetings, identifying opportunities for performance improvement to maximize investment.
Your ability to present persuasive presentations will be crucial in securing the distribution of new items to build Gallo brands. You will identify growth opportunities across brick-and-mortar environments, customer's online platforms, and third-party platforms, working closely with Gallo Sales Leadership to execute both regional and corporate sales objectives.

- Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of E. & J. Gallo Winery Sales, Marketing or Shopper Insights experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of CPG shopper insights, CPG sales, or retail sales management reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 7 years of E. & J. Gallo Winery Sales, Marketing or Shopper Insights experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or state-issued equivalency certificate plus 8 years of CPG shopper insights, CPG sales, or retail sales management reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Collaborative work style with the ability to develop your own opinions and recommendations but open to other points of view with the ability to pivot when needed.
- Experience extracting actionable implications and insights from data
- Proficient in data analysis and presentation tools such as Excel and PowerPoint..
- Required to obtain Liquor License as required by state/locality.

- Hiring salary range posted: $93,100 - $139,650 / year
- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
