Job and Duties
- Reporting to an experienced Production Manager.
- Assisting in administrative tasks, such as production schedules or paperwork.
- Ensuring production is completed before deadlines.
- Update Production Manager and Sales team on status of projects.
- Improve production tracking or quality control systems, analyzing production, or other operational reports to resolve production or processing problems.
- Develop, update, and enforce standard operating procedures and best practices for operations.
- Ensure safety measures and procedures are followed to reduce unexpected incidents and hazards, in accordance with OSHA guidelines and company policies.
- Address employee complaints, disputes, and concerns in a professional manner.
- Coordinate routine inspection and maintenance of machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and malfunctions.
- Assisting in material lists, inventory, and counts.
- Calculating Bill of Materials
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field is a Plus.
- 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment within the fenestration industry is a Fenestration industry is a plus.
- Experience with production planning and scheduling.
- Experience with quality control and assurance in a manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with CAD software and an understanding of technical drawings and specifications related to fenestration products is a Plus.
- Knowledge of fenestration products (windows, doors, etc.) and industry standards is a Plus.
- Calculating Bill of Materials knowledge
- Bilingual Chinese/English is Required
