Bus Monitor
Duties:
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students while on the bus
- Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus
- Maintain order and discipline among students during transit
- Communicate effectively with the bus driver and school staff
- Provide supervision and support to students with special needs
- Report any incidents or concerns to appropriate personnel
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with children preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
- Reliable and punctual
Please note that this is not a driving position. Bus Monitors will be responsible for assisting the bus driver and ensuring the well-being of students while on the bus.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.48 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
