What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Fall Harvest Help position at Garden City Co-op?
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least sixteen years of age (for scale help)
- Must be at least eighteen years of age (for elevator help)
- Must have your own reliable source of transportation to and from the job site (you will be working at a country elevator - many of which are miles away from a town)
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to do basic manual labor
- Basic computer skills preferred, but not required
- This job requires long hours
JOB DUTIES
- Dumping and loading trucks at the elevator (elevator)
- Sweeping dump pits and general cleaning/upkeep duties (elevator)
- Weighing trucks and sampling grain for moisture, weight, and condition (scale)
- Data entry (scale)
- Other duties as assigned (elevator/scale)
