With 10 locations across the U.S. and internationally, Gardens Alive!® Inc. employs 1000 Full-time and seasonal employees and is currently seeking a talented and motivated Junior Graphic Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing a variety of creative projects and handling both digital and print production design tasks. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and ready to contribute.

Jr. Graphic Designer
Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing concepts and designs for marketing campaigns, social media, advertisements, and e-commerce websites.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing and creative teams to create visually compelling content that aligns with brand guidelines.
  • Design and produce digital assets, including banners, email templates, web graphics, social media content, and e-commerce A content.
  • Prepare print-ready files for product catalogs, packaging, and printed marketing materials.
  • Maintain and uphold brand standards across all projects for multiple brands.
  • Ensure all deliverables are aligned with the company’s visual identity and messaging.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams marketing, merchandising, copywriting and sales, to support various initiatives.
  • Make revisions based on feedback from key stakeholders.
  • Present creative concepts in internal meetings with detailed reasoning and strategy.
Requirements:

Qualifications/Skills:

A successful candidate for this role will be curious and creative with a passion for the technical execution of design and is eager to learn from others.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
  • Knowledge of print production processes and file preparation.
  • Familiarity with digital design best practices, including responsive design and optimizing assets for web and social media.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Some experience with video editing or motion graphics (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro) is a plus.
  • Experience with email marketing/design is a plus.
  • A strong creative portfolio demonstrating diverse design capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred,
  • Associate’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, or a related field plus comparable work experience will be considered.
  • 1-2 years of experience in graphic design on an agency or in-house creative team with a focus on marketing (internships or freelance work may be considered).
