We require a Financial Coordinator that is accustomed to handling a 3 million-dollar practice's patient A/R, insurance A/R, and over-the-counter monies. You will play a critical part in helping support upper management in taking our rapidly growing practice to the next level! We value personal & professional growth. Job Summary: The purpose of the Dental Insurance Coordinator is to assist patients with insurance benefits and communicate with insurance companies regarding delayed payments. You will take full responsibility for helping patients overcome their financial obstacles, in order to maintain a healthy aging patient A/R.
The Insurance Coordinator is fully responsible for verifying patient benefits, ensuring they are accurately entered into the practice management software, filing insurance claims, posting payments, and following up on claims to ensure prompt accurate payments resulting in 100% collection rate and accurate patient accounts. Since the office participates with several PPO insurance plans, this function is critical to patient service and accurate out-of-pocket estimates.
Additional Duties Include: Supervising 2 other team members, controlling the flow of the schedule, and monitoring the schedule to ensure the office is meeting production and collections goals. This role supports the practice manager and the practice owner. Key responsibilities include supporting the practice manager in creating and maintaining a growing, profitable, productive team and workplace. Key responsibilities include producing a collection rate of 100% and maintaining an A/R rate of 30% or lower. 30 & 60-day A/R, and meets or exceeds office weekly & monthly insurance collection goals. Must be able to display a high level of professionalism and enthusiasm for all team members, as well as a flexible attitude and willingness to learn. Must be able to commit to good attendance and take constructive criticisms from others.
Compensation: $28 - $40/per hour

Strong leadership skills, excellent customer service, and outstanding interpersonal skills are a must as you will be responsible for managing patient and team relations. You will be accustomed to meeting production and collection goals while working in a fast-paced team environment.

- Efficient with Eaglesoft (Highly Preferred)
- Proficient with Gmail, Word & Excel (you need to be tech-savvy as this is an all-digital office)

Required Qualifications:
- Can-Do Attitude
- A minimum of 5 YRS DENTAL EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED!!
- Minimum experience 3–5 years of dental management experience, supervising multiple teams.
- Superior communication skills with the ability to quickly establish rapport and work closely with team members and peers.
- Experience in leadership positions, managing and training new and existing employees.
- Proven track record managing profitable, successful teams, and driving revenue growth.
- Knowledge of dental practice management systems
- Resume must demonstrate stable employment history
- A winning personality and strong communication skills
- Knowledge of dental terminology is a MUST!
- Must be completely comfortable with running the front office, providing our patients with the best service possible, understands that customer service is key and wants to help our patients get the care they deserve
