Description
Garland Sales is looking for an experienced Human Resources Recruiter. We are fast paced and growing company in the Dalton, GA area for over 30 years. The Human Resources Recruiter is responsible for performing daily functions of the Human Resources Department specifically recruiting and hiring personnel, administering human resources policies, procedures, and provide support to the administrative team, operational leaders, and employees.
Responsibilities:
- Design and update job descriptions
- Craft recruiting emails to attract passive candidates
- Screen incoming resumes and application forms
- Interview candidates (via phone, video and in-person)
- Advertise job openings on company’s careers page, social media, job boards and internally
- Provide shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers
- Send job offer emails and answer queries about compensation and benefits
- Monitor key HR metrics, including time-to-fill, time-to-hire and source of hire
- Participate in possible job fairs and host in-house recruitment events
- Collaborate with managers to identify future hiring needs
- Act as a consultant to new hires and help them onboard
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience
- Must have 10 years plus of Human Resource Experience with in the carpet industry
- Familiar with Applicant Tracking System
- Understanding of referral programs
- Attendance and Reliability are a must. Evening and weekend hours may be necessary according to business needs
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with all levels of the organization
- Bi-Lingual English and Spanish is a plus
