College Station, Texas
Garver's growing Buildings team is looking to add an experienced Architectin our College Station office. The right candidate will have at least 3 years of overall experience in efficient and aggressive project delivery methods. Strong skills in construction detailing, construction documents assembly, building component integration, specification development, project communication and leadership are required.
This candidate must be able to integrate into an in-house multi-disciplinary team setting. Candidates should have experience with Revit. Microstation and construction administration experience is a plus. We believe that overall project design is improved by simplifying the interaction and communication between architecture and engineering teams. The successful candidate for this position will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of architects, engineers, planners, and designers on a large variety of project types. We are looking for an architect who will be excited to join Garver in expanding our capabilities, and who appreciates blending functional requirements with aesthetic concepts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in architecture
- Licensed Architect or working towards licensure
- BIM experience
- Proficient in Revit
- 3 or more years of architecture experience
- Working knowledge of construction techniques and coordinating details
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
