Front Desk Receptionist

Gastro Health is seeking a Part -Time Front Desk Receptionist to join our team!

Duties you will be responsible for:

• Is responsible for the day-to-day patient flow through the check-in process to facilitate efficient functioning of Gastro Care. Acts as a resource to the staff for office issues and to patients or visitors who needs assistance.
• Confirms and prints daily schedule and registers patients upon arrival in the computer.
• Maintains and scans the medical records.
• Assist physicians and nurses with retrieval of any medical records during the day.
• Checks insurance eligibility in G-Gastro. Collects co-pays, and any patient financial responsibilities if applicable.
• Balances at the end of the day and prepares deposits to be given to the Administrator.
• Instruct the patient in completing the appropriate forms.
• Answers incoming calls and schedules patients.
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Familiar with medical terminology, but not necessary
