JOB DESCRIPTION

Showroom Assistant is aimed at increasing the showroom appearance, both in person and online. This position is charged with the overall organization and cleanliness of the showroom as well as shooting pictures and videos of incoming inventory.

The appearance of the showroom, offices, bathrooms, and vehicles is very important to Gateway and to our customers. This helps provide an inviting and enticing atmosphere that sets us apart from other dealerships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Taking, editing, and uploading pictures of inventory
• Taking, editing, and uploading videos of inventory
• Dusting vehicles
• Sweeping
• Mopping
• Cleaning bathrooms
• Taking out trash
• Organizing the showroom
• Airing up tires
• Charging batteries with a trickle charger
• Jumping batteries with a jump box
• Attend car shows when needed
• Ensuring vehicle keys are organized and put away
• Prepping vehicles for shipping such as airing up tires and charging batteries
• Keeping the sales floor organized
• Backing up other employees with duties such as but not limited to taking pictures, taking/editing/posting videos, scanning/emailing documents to accounting, cosigning incoming vehicles, attending car shows, preparing temp tags, etc.
• Assist in drives for videos
• Consignment lead lookups
• Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; inquires the nature of their business and directs them to appropriate person
• Maintains front of house presentation; swept, mopped, organized, and dusted
• Works all Gateway Caffeine and Chrome events and Holiday Party
• Occasionally you may be asked to train new Showroom Supports or provide back up to other showrooms, some travel may be required

QUALIFICATIONS

• HS Diploma or Equivalent
• Basic automotive knowledge is a plus
• Valid Drivers License with clean driving record

HOURS

Our Showrooms are open Monday-Saturday, 9am-5pm. Our employees work 5 days a week with Saturday as a required work day due to business levels.

PAY

$35,000 (pay includes bonus)
