Gateway Logistics, Inc., located in Cincinnati,* is looking for a detail oriented, operations minded Part-Time After Hours Carrier Support Representative *who is willing to learn the transportation industry and put their communication skills to use!
Responsibilities:
- Monitor progress of shipments daily to ensure coverage, on-time performance and addressing any mid-transit issues.
- Follow all processes and procedures for completing Check Calls, Dispatch Checklist and other duties
- Communicate load statuses, issues, and concerns to Customer Sales Reps.
- Follow safety procedures to make sure you are doing business with qualified carriers.
Carrier Sales Coordinator Qualifications:
- Industry experience is a huge PLUS but not a must-have.
- Must be willing to work Evenings (6:00pm - 11:00pm & rotating weekends 8:00am - 4:00pm)
- Need to be deadline and detail oriented.
- Must be organized and excel at multitasking.
- Know how to communicate effectively over the phone.
- Must be proficient using computer and software systems.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
