FULL-TIME PROJECT MANAGER
Position: Project Manager
Min. Experience: 3 to 5 Years Preferred

Gator Millworks is currently looking to hire qualified individuals who are passionate about what they do and who are willing to learn a new and exciting industry.
This position’s basic qualifications will require knowledge and experience in the construction industry, including an understanding of the general conditions of a construction contract and the roles and responsibilities of all parties involved in a commercial project.
Qualifications include an accredited degree in Construction Management and 3 to 5 years work experience as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager is preferred.
Applicant must also have excellent communication and organizational skills, but most importantly the applicant must be willing to learn the adopted standards and procedures of the company, and to implement those procedures daily.
Additionally, applicant must be willing to learn about the Architectural Millwork Industry and become familiar with the AWI (Architectural Woodwork Institute) standards. They must become proficient in company adopted procedures, software, and applications through the proper company provided training. They must also be self-driven, team oriented, able to perform with little oversight, a critical thinker, and work towards understanding and applying the necessary efforts to turn over a successful project to our clients and contractors, on time and within project budget. Finally, they must be willing to succeed and excel in their respective role and work towards becoming a leader for others.
Basic Daily Responsibilities for this Position Include:
- Able to read and understand construction contracts.
- Able to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
- Able to read and produce project schedules used to properly plan production, delivery, and installation efforts necessary to meet project deadlines.
- Able to clearly communicate with Gator project engineers to produce project submittals and issue for review and approval.
- Able to estimate project ASI’s, RFP’s, and other changes in the work accurately and submit for approval.
- Able to clearly communicate pricing changes from installers and vendors with our preconstruction team and estimators.
- Able to manage, coordinate, and administer multiple projects at once.
- Able to coordinate and mange installation crews and schedule installers as needed to meet project deadlines
- Attend jobsite deliveries, meetings, and site visits as needed for proper documentation and to ensure project success.
- Create and manage submittal logs, material orders, job reports, installation reports, punch list, change orders, change request, schedule of values, pay applications, warranties, close out documents and other similar documentation necessary to properly manage the work in accordance with adopted procedures.
- Attend, coordinate, and conduct phone calls, conferences, zoom meetings and other necessary communications needed to move project schedules and challenges forward.
Compensation:
- Competitive Starting Salary $45,000 - $60,000 (Based on Experience)
