Job Summary
The Machine Operator will safely control various machines and equipment involved in production.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Demonstrates ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required time
- Able to work with plastic molding machine, rubber compression press, and accessory equipment
- May need to paint multiple parts such as valves, inserts, etc. at a fast pace
- Trim excess material from parts for completion
- Visual quality inspections of finished goods
- Maintains assigned equipment and work area in accordance with the company cleanliness procedures.
- Performs all work in accordance with established safety and quality management procedures.
- Regular attendance and compliance with all Company policies and rules is an essential function for the job.
- Strong work ethic with reliability and dependability
- Perform all other duties as assigned as required by Supervisor or Manager.
- Frequently carry up to 20 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Occasionally bend, squat, kneel, climb, sit, and reach over shoulder.
- Frequently twist/turn and constantly stand.
- Occasionally push/pull up to 50 lbs.
- Can use upper and lower extremities repetitively (including pushing, pulling, grasping and foot controls.)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
