Responsibilities:
- Business Development (BD):
- Proactively identify and research potential clients within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and academic sectors, with a focus on their preclinical pharmacology needs.
- Initiate and nurture relationships with key decision-makers through various channels, including targeted email campaigns, strategic phone outreach, and professional networking.
- Develop and articulate a deep understanding of our comprehensive service offerings and unique value proposition, particularly in the context of preclinical pharmacology models.
- Generate and qualify high-potential prospects.
- Lead the development and execution of sophisticated business development strategiesin collaboration with the GD3 business development and customer relationship manager group.
- Represent the company at industry conferences and events, actively networking and identifying new opportunities.
- Marketing:
- Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our specialized pharmacology services.
- In close collaboration with the scientific team and leveraging AI tools, take ownership of the creation of high-impact marketing materials, including website content, email campaigns, LinkedIn thought leadership posts, brochures/handouts, and presentations.
- Manage and optimize marketing databases and CRM systems.
- Rigorously track and analyze marketing campaign performance including partnered SEO and paid search, providing actionable insights.
- Study Management:
- Research disease models and design pilot studies for proof of concept experiments
- In collaboration with clients, generate study plans with optimal design, including control arms, numbers of animals and endpoints.
- Discuss, schedule and oversee the flawless execution of the study by the research associate team.
- AI-Driven Business Development:
- Strategically utilize AI tools and platforms to identify high-value leads, conduct in-depth market trend analysis, and personalize advanced outreach efforts.
- Implement and leverage innovative AI-driven strategies to significantly enhance business development effectiveness.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM):
- Cultivate and sustain strong, strategic relationships with existing and potential clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for complex client inquiries and requests, particularly those related to preclinical study design and execution.
- Ensure exceptional client satisfaction by proactively addressing any concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the CRM system.
- Meeting Coordination:
- Schedule, coordinate and participate in meetings with potential and existing clients, both virtual and in-person.
- Prepare meeting agendas and materials.
- Follow up on action items from meetings.
- Quote Generation:
- Collaborate extensively with the scientific team to thoroughly understand complex project requirements and develop accurate, competitive, and scientifically sound quotes for clients.
- Streamline the quote generation process efficiently and ensure timely delivery to clients.
- Bachelor's degree in a biological science, pharmacology, or a related field is required. A Master's degree or Ph.D. is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated in-depth understanding of preclinical pharmacology experiments, in vivo and in vitro models, and the drug discovery process is essential.
- Highly motivated, a rapid and strategic learner with a strong work ethic and proven leadership potential.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
- Superior organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
