- Responsible for assembly, prep to test, dprep, and test among several commercial engine product lines.
- Ensure that all work accomplished meets safety, integrity, compliance & quality GE Aerospace standards.
- Test cell throttle operator responsible for engine operation and cell maintenance.
- Assist in installing engines in the test stand and setup for test.
- Assist in the operation of the current family of engines, following approved work requests, and ensuring the engine is operated within published limits.
- Maintain good communications with support organizations and the team.
- Contribute to the investigation, diagnose, correction and documentation of engine, instrumentation or system malfunctions.
- Assist in the interpretation and processing of associated test data.
- Maintain effective communications with auditors, customers, support organizations and team members.
- Actively participate in multi-skills development.
- Ensure that control room display of data and safety limit annunciation is correct and in accordance with test requirements.
- Participate in test planning efforts and support test in areas of the console, Fadec Monitoring System (FMS), Display Adjustment Panel (DAP) and Portable Data Loader (PDL) operation.
- Maintain required test cell and engine hardware / software documentation.
- Assist maintenance and engineering organizations in the maintenance and repair of test facilities.
- Associates degree or High School diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution.
- 1 years of experience with aircraft engines.
- FAA Part 65 Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Ability to perform in a self-directed team environment.
- Must be able to follow instructions, learn, understand, and comply with jet engine maintenance procedures and regulations.
- Knowledge of borescope.
- Preliminary Review approved.
- Designated Inspector.
- Engine test site operation.
- Equipment operation, i.e., fork truck, transporter & tug.
