Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Develop and continuously refine the Lean implementation at the Charleroi, PA.
- Maintain an effective 5S Program and Ideas Program as a foundational program for all departments.
- Participate and support the Daily Management routine.
- Utilize PDCA concept to address and support a problem-solving activity to improve the processes performance gaps.
- Provide needed oversight and training in Lean Methodologies, Tools and Techniques to continuous improvement practices.
- Measure and document progress towards objectives related to Lean Process and Programs.
- Identify cost reduction opportunities and long-term improvement opportunities.
- Lead kaizens events in the manufacturing and transactional processes based on the Hoshin Projects, VSM, Lean Maturity Assessment and Productivity information.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing and/or lean experience
