Overview
Provide essential support to members of the Beauty and Housewares account teams, assisting in day-to-day work, project management, execution of campaigns, and contribution to the overall success of client and Agency initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Conduct research on such topics as client industries, trends, competitors, and the media landscape to inform PR strategies.
· Assist with drafting press materials, including press releases, media pitches, etc.
· Bring a creative approach to client work and problem solving.
· Support media outreach efforts, including building and maintaining editorial calendars and media lists – knowledge of Muck Rack and Critical Mention preferred.
· Secure print and online coverage for clients through targeted media outreach and pitching.
· Monitor media coverage and compile coverage reports for clients.
· Draft weekly, monthly and quarterly client reports as well as meeting agendas.
· Assist with logistics for client events, media tours and press trips.
· Source products for mailers and other product seeding initiatives.
· Participate in Agency brainstorms.
· Assist with managing and mentoring interns.
· Support social media efforts, including content creation and community management.
· Manage, plan and execute daily product shipments and mailers.
· Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, note-taking, managing client inventory, gifting and creating organizational systems.
· Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in public relations and communications.
Minimum Qualifications – Education & Experience
· Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or other related major.
· 0-2 years of experience in public relations, communications, or related field (internship experience considered).
· Demonstrates a high level of maturity, resourcefulness, and poise in a professional setting.
· Strong written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
· Holds a strong work ethic and standard for which tasks and projects are completed.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Maintains a positive and professional attitude in all situations.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects while remaining calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to consistently meet deadlines.
· Familiarity with social media platforms and basic analytics.
· Proactive approach to problem-solving.
· A self-starter with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
· Proficiency in computer applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Canva and Wix is a plus.

Salary : $40,000 - $55,000
