The principals are IRS Enrolled Agents who have been serving individuals and businesses in the communities of Woodbury, Lake Elmo, Oakdale, the Twin Cities metro area, and western Wisconsin for more than 40 years. If you are ready to work on site as an experienced Tax Accountant with at least 3 years of recent public accounting experience, read on. You are passionate about researching, detecting errors, and advising clients about tax issues, projections, and returns.
You’re ready to spread your wings to research issues and prepare work papers related to tax audits and correspondence. You rise to the challenge of a draft response and confidently represent clients before the IRS and other taxing authorities. You’re committed to continuous education and professional development to stay current in industry and compliance rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s or equivalent plus three or more years related experience and/or training
· Effective public speaker to present and answer questions to groups of clients, customers, and the public
· Ability to analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and/or governmental regulations
· Ability to write reports and business correspondence
· Experience with QuickBooks Online Accounting Software and QuickBooks Desktop
· Experience with Drake Tax Preparation Software
Licenses:
· EA designation or CPA (EA is preferred)
· Must have an active PTIN
