Geisinger Eye Institute has openings to join their well-established practice with multi-specialty Ophthalmologists and Optometrists. Opportunities to develop a program, perform research, and teach residents in a large, tertiary referral center.

Our practice:
- Advanced technologies in diagnostic FA, Fundus Camera, HVF, Goldman Field, IOL Master, Immersion, OCT, Pachymetry, and Topography
- Treatment options, including SLT Laser , YAG Laser, Argon Laser
- Geisinger owned surgical facilities- on main campus and nearby outpatient surgery center
- Residency within our program
- Support from Advance Practitioners
- Clinics have over 50 exam rooms
- Shared call (home call)
- A large referral base from our onsite Optometrists, local Ophthalmologists and physicians in our satellite offices

Qualifications:
An ophthalmologist has the knowledge and professional skills needed to provide comprehensive eye and vision care. Ophthalmologists are medically trained to diagnose, monitor and medically or surgically treat all ocular and visual disorders. This includes problems affecting the eye and its component structures, the eyelids, the orbit and the visual pathways.
