Geisinger, a national leader in healthcare innovation and technology, is seeking a BC/BE Pulmonary/Critical Care trained physician for an exciting opportunity at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. There is also a strong sleep presence for those boarded in and who also want to practice sleep medicine.
At a Glance:
- 1 week ICU 12-hour days (7 days…mostly days. Some swings/nights).
- 2 -3 days off
- 1 week inpatient consults, studies, etc 8-hour days (5 days…days only). Call from home
- 2 weeks clinic 8-hour days (volume: 12-14 patients/day) Read PFT’s (pulmonary function tests)
- Receive both clinical and academic titles upon start
- Teach residents, fellows, and medical students as well as participate in scholarly activities, interdisciplinary programs, committees and research
