- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
- High School diploma, or equivalent
- Motor coordination, manual and finger dexterity
- Basic computer skills
- Mechanical skills
- Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish)
To run quality plastic parts to fill all production and work orders.
Essential Job Functions
- To set-up and maintain production lines and maintain process stability throughout the production run.
- Complete X and R charts and top half of check off sheet.
- Run quality plastic parts to fill out all existing production and work orders.
- Fill out extruder heat settings charts.
- Perform production order sign-off responsibilities.
- Mylar tracings of profile-optical comparator.
- Use of reflective eye (electronic).
- Follow lockout / tagout procedures.
- Relieve packers when necessary, initial packer slips when relieving.
- Change extruder screens.
- Test run new extrusion dies and fabrication dies when requested.
- General housekeeping.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Follow scanning system.
- Follow 5S procedures.
- Follow SMED procedures.
