Position: Staff Nurse - AOT
Regional Health Systems is Northwest Indiana’s largest provider of community-based mental health care, primary health care and addiction treatment services. We offer adults and children—both uninsured and insured—integrated care through our community mental health center and federally qualified health center. Regional Health Systems is a member of the Regional Care Group.
Position Purpose:
The purpose of the Staff Nurse is to provide individualized clinical nursing services to outpatient; to assist in the coordination of services between medical services and other center programs to facilitate evaluation and treatment of medical services to patients and provide assistance to physicians. provide a therapeutic milieu; administer and monitoring pharmacologic treatment; and health teaching, crisis intervention, counseling and discharge planning.

- Admission assessment of clients based on psychiatric and addiction needs
- Nursing Care

- Mantoux Testing
- Emergency Intervention
- Medication Administration
- Clinical Documentation
- Transports clients as required safely and on time, if applicable

Location:

Requirements:
- Education: Associate degree in nursing
- Experience: 1 year of experience preferred, but not required
- Additional Information: This position requires a valid LPN or RN license in the State of Indiana
Shift Details: Full-time – Non-exempt: 8a – 4p, Monday – Friday (subject to changes based on department needs)
