Role Description

We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician - Machine Vision to join our team in Largo, FL. This is a full-time role that requires on-site support for our customers. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machine vision systems used in the glass industry. You will work closely with customers to understand their requirements and provide technical support and training. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in machine vision technology, including cameras, lighting, lenses, and image processing software
• Experience in the installation and maintenance of machine vision systems
• Knowledge of PLC programming and industrial automation
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as required
• Previous experience in the glass industry is a plus
• Degree or certification in electrical, mechanical, or related field is preferred
