Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Cerritos, CA for a Director of Retail Sales – Foodservice & Club Accounts. The Director will be responsible for leading and managing all retail sales activities, developing and executing business plans, overseeing profit and loss management, and creating strategies to increase sales and market share in foodservice and warehouse club accounts.

Qualifications

• Must have successful experience selling food products to major supermarket chains, mass retailers and warehouse clubs.
• Experience developing and executing trade marketing programs and channel strategies tailored to multiple retailer types.
• Direct responsibility for national or large regional retail accounts, including negotiation of contracts, managing pricing, overseeing product assortment, and joint business planning
• A successful track record launching new food products into the retail environment—covering everything from brand positioning and category management to managing slotting fees, forecasting, and logistics for rollouts.
• Experience selecting, managing, and optimizing food brokers and distributors to expand reach and drive sales volume, especially in new geographies or channels.
• Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work on-site in Cerritos, CA
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred
