About the role:
Gen3 is looking for a Training Specialist to support our client, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). As a Training Specialist, you'll support dashboard/visualization efforts and the Vulnerability Implementation/Remediation efforts for the ISSM. The Training Specialist must also be knowledgeable in adult learning theory and principles.
Location: Hybrid, remote in Lanham, MD
What you'll do:
- Implement an ADDIE-based training approach.
- Identify and tailor training for specific audiences, including individual contributors, managers, and senior leadership.
- Create training artifacts and conduct end-user training for the ISSM community.
- Develop and report on metrics, detailing training attendance and effectiveness.
- Prepare and present training material for newly implemented processes, workflows, applications, etc.
- Ensure all training materials are 508 compliant, clear, concise, and error-free.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in a related discipline and a minimum of 4 years of related and relevant experience.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.).
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
