What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Engineer-Combustion position at Gencor Industries, Inc.?
Gencor Industries is looking for an enthusiastic self-starter who drives projects to completion.
Candidate will be responsible for the design of thermal heat exchange systems, and combustion systems. Major duties include schematic design using Solidworks CAD software to generate layout and diagrams for release to Manufacturing. Candidate will be responsible to manage and track all assigned projects, including coordination of activities with production and quality control departments. Candidate should have experience and guidance in project management of customer projects and/or new system design projects. This includes taking responsibility for establishing and meeting project schedules. Additional duties include technical support to other functions in the company including Sales, Manufacturing, and Product Support.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- 5 years of experience. Experience with combustion or thermal systems design.
- Extensive knowledge of 3D modeling using SOLIDWORKS. Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate (CSWA) is required; advanced SOLIDWORKS certification is a plus.
