Job Summary: The Engineer provides intermediate technical support in a professional manner. The Engineer is responsible for the provisioning, deployment, and ongoing operations and maintenance of all managed network services for customers and internal customers. This individual will be a member of a team of Engineers within the Network group. The Network Engineer will work the networking ticket queue and directly support our customers escalations. Key Responsibilities: · The Engineer will provide client consultation: perform analyses of customer security needs and recommend, design, and implement secure server and network environments. · Provide technology support: install, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot servers, networks, firewalls, VPNs, and other security products, providing solutions to complex hardware/software problems including testing. · Effectively communicate security policy and technology issues and product capabilities through both high-quality written documents unstructured interviews to all levels of client. · Keep up to date with network security issues and products. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: · Meraki switching/Meraki wireless · Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine) – {Security} · Advanced understanding in network design. · Strong communication skills. · Ability to convey technical requirements and concepts, commensurate to one’s level, to technical and non-technical clients and corporate audience. · Excellent written and oral communications, problem solving and process management skills. · Ability to work well within a team environment in a matrixed organization. · Interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization. · Must have good knowledge in Cisco routers and Switches. · Must have Knowledge in anyone of these Firewalls - Palo Alto/Cisco ASA/Cisco firepower/Juniper SRX/Fortinet. · Must have good knowledge in Call Manager, Cisco Unity Connection and Cisco IM&P · Basic understanding in SIP, H323 Gateways and Expressway connectors · Good to have knowledge in Cisco Contact Center Xpress, Cisco Expressways and MGCP Gateways Certifications: · Must be completed in anyone of below certification. · CCNA - Must for Network and Security L2 · CCNP preferred GDT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
