\tInstalls, maintains, repairs, overhauls, troubleshoots, modifies, constructs and tests various types of electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment and related devices on board Naval Vessels\n\tApplies technical knowledge of electronics principles to put equipment in operational condition and solve moderately complex problems.\n\tTroubleshoots and corrects malfunctions using specialized test and diagnostic equipment.\n\tModifies circuitry to improve performance.\n\tMakes recommendations for improvements or modifications to correct problems.\n\tMay provide operation and maintenance instruction to customer personnel.\n\tPerforms preventative maintenance.\n\tParticipates in special projects, as required.\n#hireshipyardcareersgdit
The likely hourly rate for this position is between $19.08 - $24.66. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
