What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Specialist position at General Floor Industries?
General Floor, the largest wholesale floor covering distributor in the tri-state area, is looking for a full-time Accounts Receivable Clerk. This opportunity is located in Bellmawr, NJ and the hours are 9:30 AM-6 PM, Monday-Friday with the exception of rotating Wednesday evening hours 11:30 AM-8 PM. Hours during initial 60 day training period are 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
Duties:
- Answer Account Receivable phone inquiries
- Contact Customers for payments
- Application and maintenance of customer credits on account
- Maintain and process customer forms and requests
- Process deposits and credit card payments
- Provide excellent internal/external customer service and support
- Create and maintain A/R reports, excel spreadsheets, invoices and statements
- Special projects and other duties assigned as needed by management
Ideal Candidates are:
- Comfortable talking on the phone
- Organized and detail oriented
- Experienced with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Reliable and punctual
- Flexible to cover alternate shifts
- Must have reliable transportation and valid d/l for bank and post office pick up
