General Kinematics is the premier manufacturer of vibrating equipment for the processing of bulk materials. From vibratory feeders to entire process systems, General Kinematics creates the solutions customers require to process even the most difficult materials.
We are currently looking for a qualified Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. This accounting position will be responsible to provide financial, administrative, and clerical support to ensure accuracy and efficiency of operations. This position requires working within a team environment with other areas such as sales, purchasing, shipping, and receiving.
Job Responsibilities
· Processing all accounts invoices
· Performing weekly AP check run & monthly commission statements
· Resolve vendor issues with purchasing
· Supplier statement reconciliation
· Review and audit expense reports
· Respond to vendor inquires
· Assist in the preparation of month end close
· Prepare year end 1099 for vendors
· Process sales taxes monthly and quarterly
· Fully support the Company’s ISO objectives, policies, procedures and the GK SCOPE Program
Requirements
· High School Degree or equivalent
· Two (2) years of work related experience
· Strong attention to detail
· Proficient in MS office applications such as Excel, Outlook and Word
· Previous experience working within an ERP system a plus.
· Highly organized, detail orientated and have a sense of urgency
· Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Must pass a drug test and criminal background check prior to employment
