Currently we are seeking a Scribe for our Cardiology office located in Buffalo General Hospital in Buffalo, NY! This is a part-time position, scheduled 20 hours per week, day shift availability required. Free parking!
Essential Duties of a Scribe:
- Accurately enter notes from Provider dictation into electronic medical records system.
- Route entered notes to Providers for electronic signature.
- Deliver exemplary customer service to provide a positive experience across the organization.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications of a Scribe:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year of customer service experience (medical office experience preferred)
- Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred)
- Ability to multitask and answer telephones calls quickly and efficiently Experience with an EMR(Medent)
- The pay range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant at the time of posting. When determining pay, several factors will be considered including but not limited to location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, professional credentials, internal equity, and budget.
