Founding Engineer – Full Stack | San Francisco (On-site)

$150k–$250k 3x market equity | Visa Relocation support

Our client is looking for one of the most ambitious early-stage AI startups in healthcare — backed by Khosla Ventures (investors in OpenAI & Stripe) and advised by some of the most respected names in oncology from UCSF, Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins, and more.

They’re building something game-changing:

• An AI Cancer Doctor — a frontier decision-support platform bringing precision and speed to the fight against cancer.
• Currently piloting at UCSF Helen Diller and Bakar Cancer Center, with more top-tier hospitals lining up.
• Based in San Francisco’s Financial District, this is a 100% on-site role, working alongside a multi-time founder/CEO, ex-military CTO, and a world-class team.

💼 The Role:

As a Founding Engineer, you’ll:

• Build full-stack products end-to-end (Python/FastAPI, React/TypeScript)
• Own backend frontend, and ship at startup speed
• Engage directly with users (oncologists, researchers, patients) to inform decisions
• Drive the 0→1 journey of a product that actually saves lives

🔍 You Are:

• A top-performer with proof of excellence (e.g. class top 3, Olympiad wins, hackathon champ)
• A startup-first mind: high agency, bias for action, end-to-end builder
• Experienced at 0→1 in a startup, ideally as a Founding Engineer or Founder
• Curious about AI, healthcare, or both
