Position Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Green River, WY
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate Safety as the number one priority
- Support of daily maintenance activities and problem solving.
- Maintaining plant equipment, data, and documentation.
- Work with Reliability Engineers to optimize the predictive/preventive maintenance program.
- Provide support on electrical maintenance and certification activities and advise on electrical modifications to facilities.
- Maintain spare parts inventory and standardize equipment.
- Perform Maintenance Engineering (MERs) and Management of Change (MOC) requests.
- Perform administrative duties.
- Weekend duty and off-shift responsibilities.
Activities:
- MSHA/OSHA rules and regulations and applicable codes and regulatory requirements. Participation in safety program(s).
- Provide on-demand engineering support to the business units.
- Make equipment recommendations to improve machine performance based on failure data, craft feedback and OEM design modifications.
- Maintaining plant equipment specifications, including plant history, drawing updates and maintenance manuals.
- Standardize and optimize spare parts inventory, stock management and co-ordination of the ordering of spares in conjunction with the Maintenance Planners and warehouse personnel.
- Support the capital engineering group in project reviews, installations, and major equipment overhauls.
- Reliability including root cause failure analysis, data collection of chronic equipment failures, and engineering improvements to equipment.
- Interface with outside vendors to improve process / equipment reliability.
- Provide weekly reports, develop/perform PM form updates, attend or conduct training as needed.
- Support ISO 9000 efforts.
Skill, Capability, and Educational Requirements:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering
- 2-3 years of Electrical Engineering experience in a heavy manufacturing or chemical processing industry preferred
- Industrial background, electrical troubleshooting and reliability experience preferred.
- ERP experience, with SAP and/or Oracle strongly preferred
Final determination on pay will be made by HR and company leadership considering the candidate's education, experience, past performance, demonstrated leadership and influence.
