Job Title: Laboratory Care Specialist (Part-Time)

Hourly Rate: $17.00 – $21.00 (based on experience)
Reports to: Laboratory Care Specialist Program Manager
Schedule: Part-time, flexible weekdays
Target Start Date: Approximately 5–6 weeks from now

Role Summary

As a Laboratory Care Specialist, your primary responsibilities will be specimen collection and patient-facing care. You’ll travel across the Greater Phoenix area to multiple sites, providing courteous and professional service while supporting patients through in-person and telehealth interactions. The role also includes courier tasks (including airport deliveries), inventory management, and thorough documentation in multiple systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality specimen collections with care and professionalism
  
• Deliver excellent customer service and support to patients, many in recovery
  
• Drive between multiple client sites; perform local courier and occasional airport runs
  
• Conduct telehealth and phone-based patient interactions
  
• Track and document patient communication across digital systems
  
• Maintain supply inventory, organized storage, and clean collection areas

Qualifications

Required:

• 1 year of experience in direct patient care or customer service
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel locally
• Strong communication skills and professionalism
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

• Phlebotomy, MA, or CNA certification
• Familiarity with Excel and Google Suite
• Experience in laboratory or courier environments
• Knowledge of EHR or EMR systems
