This position is a clinical role that contributes to the delivery of efficient and effective radiation treatments.Your key responsibilities:Clinical Practice Personally undertake radiation therapy treatment responsibilities and associated duties.Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the relevant Center and across the practice.Responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.Ensures that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner.Patient Care Ensures established patient care standards are maintained.Treats all patients and their caregivers with respect and equality.Maintains confidentiality on all issues.Liaises with members of the health care team in the planning and delivery of patient services.Teamwork and communication Demonstrates ability to participate as an active and effective member of a team.Demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.Participates in team meetings and activities.Other Perform other tasks as reasonably requested.Experience: Demonstrated technical competence in all areas of radiation therapy at an appropriate level, including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiation therapy modalities and techniques.Ability to demonstrate the ability to work in an effective team environmentStrong empathy, interpersonal and communication skillsStrong knowledge of radiation therapy and associated allied healthcare servicesRegistration as a Radiation Therapist with ARRT and eligible for applicable state licenses.About GenesisCare:Across the world, we have more than 440 centers offering the latest treatments and technologies that have been proven to help patients achieve the best possible outcomes.
