Using proprietary technologies, Genoskin creates human skin models that replicate in vivo conditions, providing a reliable alternative to animal testing and helping to de-risk drug development.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Production Associate to join our dynamic team. The Production Associate will play a crucial role in the manufacturing and quality control of our human skin models, contributing directly to the delivery of high-quality products for our clients. This role involves working within a regulated environment, adhering to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce human skin models, such as NativeSkin® and HypoSkin®, according to the production schedule set by the Production Manager.
- Fulfill the experimental and production plans, including any amendments, and document all activities, including any deviations, promptly reporting them to the Project Leader or Production Manager.
- Perform QA/QC controls (inclkuding histology analysis).
- Process samples for internal or outsourced analyses as needed, ensuring that samples are prepared and delivered according to project requirements.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all tasks and proper record-keeping using databases and other tools, ensuring data integrity and traceability throughout the project.
- Quickly and accurately record raw data from experiments and ensure their safety throughout the duration of the project.
- Draft, review, and edit technical documents, including but not limited to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Method of Procedures (MOPs).
- Present and discuss results clearly in team meetings, and communicate effectively with other team members about all aspects of projects.
- Perform routine lab and equipment cleaning tasks, including weekly and monthly cleaning schedules.
- Manage laboratory consumables, inventory, and stock to ensure that supplies are maintained and available when needed.
- Create and track shipment documents as required, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of samples and products.
- Adhere to the organization’s health and safety requirements, maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology or a related field.
- Previous experience in a production or laboratory environment, particularly in tissue culture or bioproduction, is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols accurately.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with GLP and quality control standards in a production setting.
