What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Specialist position at GenScript?
The ideal candidate has experience in managing and completing a wide range of administrative and accounting support tasks. Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Performing daily financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and approving accounts payable data through OA system.
- Complying with company travel policy to review and process employee reimbursement.
- Reconcile credit card, online payment, and auto ACH payment monthly to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements.
- Response to the customer call and navigate through the system to process customer requests.
- Identifying and rectifying any invoicing issues to ensure timely payment.
- Processing customer Credit Card payment and check deposit.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate in Accounting/Finance or relevant discipline.
- Minimum 1 years of accounting experience.
- Strong time management and administrative skills; attention to the detail and accuracy.
- Familiar with Microsoft office, SAP or other Accounting system experience preferred.
- Demonstrates good written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrated experience to execute multiple tasks and handle a fairly heavy workload in a team or independently.
- Good interpersonal skills, team player with positive attitude.
- Bilingual is a plus.
