Telecom Expense & Network Operations Specialist - HYBRID work schedule.
Are you a telecom and network services expert with a passion for expense management, operations, and process optimization ? We’re looking for a Telecom Expense & Network Operations Specialist to oversee telecom expenses, manage vendor relationships, and drive operational efficiency in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
What You’ll Do :
Manage telecom expenses – Analyze invoices, track usage, identify billing discrepancies, and ensure accurate payments.
Optimize telecom costs – Identify savings opportunities and ensure compliance with vendor contracts.
Vendor & Service Provider Management – Work closely with telecom providers to resolve billing, contract, and operational issues.
Support network operations – Engage in monitoring, incident management, SLA tracking, and compliance auditing.
Collaborate with IT teams – Work alongside Project Managers, Engineers, and Architects to process telecom orders and support infrastructure projects.
What We’re Looking For :
5-7 years of experience in telecom or network services .
Strong understanding of telecom expense management (TEM) tools like Tangoe, Calero, or Cass .
Knowledge of wired / wireless expense management and network components like routers, switches, SD-WAN, firewalls, and VOIP / SIP systems .
Experience working in an outsourced IT environment and managing vendor contracts.
Ability to analyze invoices , identify errors, and ensure cost accuracy.
Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills .
Familiarity with ITIL, Six Sigma / LEAN , and regulatory standards (SOX, State & Federal).
Proficiency in ServiceNow, MS Office Suite, Visio, and project management tools .
Excellent communication skills – Ability to translate technical details for non-technical audiences.
