Your role on the team:
- Proactively lead and drive cross functional project management teams to ensure project success according to schedule, budget and quality requirements
- Create and execute comprehensive project plans to include scope, schedule, budget, procurement, resources, quality, risks, change control and communications according to GEODIS PMO policy
- Communicate and document project status directly to internal and external stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Manage multiple cross functional resource teams
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Support sales proposal efforts including project scoping and LOE assessments
- Mentor other project managers in best practices and indirect development initiatives
- Other secondary duties as required and assigned
What you need:
- Minimum 6 years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience within the 3PL industry
- 5 years demonstrated experience in managing projects related to 3PL solutions of new client startups
- PMP Certification from the Project Management Institute with demonstrated project application of methodology
- Flexibility to quickly adapt to change
- Travel up to 40% as required by project
- Proficient with MS Office applications with expertise in Project Management software, MS Project, MS Project Server 2013 preferred
- Understanding of warehousing/logistics/transportation industry operations and related systems: WMS / LMS / TMS
- Financial acumen of revenue models, P/L and cost-to-completion projections
- Motivated self-starter, able to work with limited supervision
- Possess high level communication skills both written and verbal applicable to all levels of the organization
