What You'll Do:
- Monitor security and fire alarm systems in real-time to respond promptly to emergencies and alarms on a priority basis (as prompted by our monitoring system).
- Coordinate with emergency services, such as police, fire departments, and medical responders, to ensure swift and effective assistance.
- Handle incoming calls from clients, alarm systems, and emergency services, demonstrating clear communication skills and empathy.
- Make critical decisions under pressure, following established protocols to assess and address various situations.
- Maintain service technician routing ledger.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- Must be able to pass a thorough background check. All candidates will be required to have their fingerprints taken and must obtain a PERC card once fingerprints are cleared.
- Previous experience in a security, emergency response, or call center environment is NOT required.
- Exceptional multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Basic computer skills and experience working in a professional office environment.
- Ability to remain calm, composed, and focused during high-stress situations.
- Comfortable working in a 24/7 shift-based environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Familiarity with security systems and monitoring software is a bonus.
- Must have reliable means of transportation.
