What are the responsibilities and job description for the Insurance Sales Representative position at George Denger Agency?
Our agency is looking for a confident and highly motivated individual that's interested in a great sales opportunity. Great earnings with future long term career advancement available. As an Insurance Sales Representative you will receive inbound prospect leads and make outbound calls to generate appointments and market a wide range of insurance products and services.
In addition, the representative will benefit from a robust marketing program which provides a steady stream of prospects on a daily basis. There is no ceiling on earnings potential, and your success will align with your effort and skills.
Being bi lingual in spanish can be a big plus, but is not required for this position. Part time opportunity requires a minimum of 30 hours weekly.
Current Insurance license is a bonus and required to place policies. If not, agency will assist with licensing and provide insurance and sales training.
If you are unlicensed and looking to break into the insurance industry, first year base salary would be in the range of $32-35k with commissions anticipated between 12k-20k. If you are an experience insurance sale veteran looking for a change to a high producing agency, your base salary would be ~$40k and commissions expected to range between $30-$40k.
If you have the ability to sell life insurance as well, those commissions would contribute to the top line for you.

Responsibilities
- Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
- Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and close sales.
- Call prospective customers by operating telephones, automatic dialing systems, texting and other internet technologies.
- Grow sales revenue by consistently developing lead sources and referrals.
