Georgia Military College is hiring a Full-Time Custodian for our second shift. This position is responsible for conducting general cleaning of all campus buildings/common areas including classrooms, offices, bathrooms, and other common areas. Cleaning requirements include all flooring, furniture/furnishings, walls, bathroom fixtures, ceramic/stone tile work, light fixtures, windows, window coverings, sidewalks, stucco/masonry exteriors, and other areas as required. Requires the use of related janitorial equipment and supplies. requires prior custodial/janitorial experience.
Other duties:
- Routine cleaning of assigned area to include offices, classrooms, bathrooms, and other areas---floors, fixtures and furnishings
- Detailed cleaning/maintenance of flooring, window coverings, stucco/masonry exteriors, sidewalks, etc.
- General custodial support for special events. General cleaning, assist in the set-up and breakdown of furniture sets as assigned
Hours: Monday-Friday 2PM to 11PM with occasional Saturdays
Pay: $25,700
*Criminal background check and drug screen must be cleared before any candidate may begin working.

Minimum qualifications:
- Must possess valid driver's license
- Basic computer skills are required
- Knowledge of correct usage of chemicals used in custodial work
- Prior experience using custodial equipment
Preferred:
- High school diploma/GED equivalent strongly preferred
