Job Summary:

This position is responsible for assisting in the performance of the routine and non-routine duties of the operations division to ensure the success of all GNFA events and overall customer satisfaction.

Qualification Requirements:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and maintaining commercial buildings and GNFA grounds.
  • Event setup and break-downs involving tables, chairs, and other equipment.
  • Maintain livestock and horse facilities.
  • Notify immediate supervisor of needed tools, equipment, or supplies.
  • Other duties, functions and special assignments as directed by Supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to perform successfully with minimal instructions and supervision.
  • Excellent knowledge of and ability to abide by all policies and procedures of the GNFA.

Other:

  • Travel from office to other location may be required.
  • This position may require an irregular work schedule and the performance of work assignments which may not be directly related to job specifications.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.

Supervisory Control and Responsibilities:

None

Guidelines:

The Operations Technician I must comply with generally accepted professional practices as well as relevant State and Federal regulations. Such guidelines are generally clear and specific, but may require some interpretation in their application.

Minimum Training and/or Experience to Perform Essential Job Functions:

Education level commonly associated with the completion of a High School Diploma is required with at least 1 year of relevant work experience. However, a combination of education and experience may be used to meet minimum requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
