We are seeking a Senior GIS Analyst to compile, manipulate, and analyze geospatial data. In this role, the GIS Analyst will design, develop, and maintain databases and systems of GIS data, as well as create reports, maps, and visualizations conveying the results of spatial analyses.They will also be responsible for presenting the data findings to internal stakeholders and occasionally external clients.
Job Description
Create and modify GIS datasets.
Utilize GIS tools and techniques to analyze, manage, and visualize data.
Conduct spatial analysis to identify trends, patterns, and relationships in data sets.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate GIS into the decision-making processes.
Generate maps to communicate findings and support project initiatives.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in GIS.
Qualifications :
Masters degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.
Strong understanding of geodatabases and geodatabase applications.
Minimum 5 years of experience utilizing ArcGIS and related esri tools
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex spatial data.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
Strong understanding of engineering principles and natural resource management concepts is a plus.
