Warehouse Manager
Purpose of the Position
We are looking for an organized warehouse manager to supervise the receipt, dispatching, and storage of merchandise in our warehouse. The warehouse manager will oversee picking, storage, receiving, dispatching, security, maintenance, sanitation, and administrative functions. You will oversee, train, and evaluate staff. You will ensure the maintenance of company assets.

Warehouse Manager Responsibilities:
- Overseeing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Implementing operational policies and procedures.
- Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
- Ensuring the safety of staff.
- Maintain, train, and manage warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals. This includes recruitment, selection, and orientation of staff.
- Improves staff performance by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
- Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.
- Maintaining awareness and knowledge of the condition and location of fleet vehicles.
- Leads by example to actively promote ethical business behavior and organizational values and adherence to all company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as required and/or assigned.
Warehouse Manager Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 5 years of warehouse management experience.
- Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.
- Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
- Valid drivers' license.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to operate forklift effectively.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. comfortably and unassisted.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong people skills.
