With a commitment to excellence and innovation, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Controller to join our team and take ownership of our financial operations.

Job Overview
Ensure the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of the accounting, financial and related information system activities of the company. Apply generally accepted accounting principles to account for and analyze financial information. Provides for the collection, organization, analysis and distribution of financial and project management reports. Uses good business judgment to make recommendations on financial and information system matters. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making processes.

Duties

• Conduct thorough account analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards.
• Manage cash flow effectively, including cash management strategies and forecasting.
• Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
• Perform general ledger reconciliation to maintain the integrity of financial data.
• Prepare and present financial reports, highlighting key insights for management review.
• Apply knowledge of governmental accounting practices where applicable.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial management practices across the organization.
• Preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing analytical support as needed.
• Ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures while identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in accounting roles with a focus on financial management and reporting.
• Strong skills in account analysis, debits and credits, and general ledger reconciliation.
• Familiarity with construction accounting principles is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Quick Books Online) and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity of financial information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
