What You Will Do

Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure within the Microsoft Azure cloud environment.
- Ensure the availability, performance, security, and scalability of Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
- Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for system administration and appropriate use.
- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support.
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
- Manage and set priorities for the design, maintenance, development, and evaluation of all infrastructure systems, including VMs, containers, and microservices.
- Develop automation scripts to handle and track incidents.
- Implement and maintain security systems and diligent code deployment automation.
- Monitor data center health using preexisting management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise.
- Help negotiate SLA agreements and manage SLA compliance.
- Manage operational costs; conduct near- and long-term financial forecasts for expanded functionality/user base.
- Explore new technology solutions and ways to integrate them into operations.
- Mentor team members and manage multiple cross-functional projects.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 15 years of experience in managing IT operations or cloud-based environments.
- Strong background in software development and scripting; experience with .NET, C#, Angular.
- Proven experience in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of software solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud site reliability engineering.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity practices and strategies.
- Familiarity with microservice architecture and its impact on business continuity.
- Exceptional team management, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
- Certifications in Microsoft Azure, cybersecurity, and/or leadership preferred.
