- Provide direct nursing care using the nursing process to ensure safe, high-quality, resident-centered care.
- Administer medications, perform treatments, carry out physician orders, and notify physicians and families as needed.
- Assess residents, identify changes in condition, and communicate findings to the interdisciplinary care team.
- Develop, implement, and update resident care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and team members.
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and resident responses in accordance with policy and regulation.
- Supervise and delegate nursing care to other staff while ensuring compliance with safety and infection control standards.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, controlled substance security, and adherence to all facility and state requirements.
- High school education or GED (required)
- Active, unencumbered Massachusetts RN or LPN licensure (required)
- 1 year of experience working in an Assisted Living environment (required)
- Proficient in reading, writing, and following instructions in English
- CPR certification
- Demonstrate physical ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, squat, and lift/carry up to 20 pounds unassisted or 50 pounds with assistance.
