Spiffy offers mobile and fixed-site car washing, detailing, high-volume oil change, tire rotation, and other maintenance services to fleets, residences, and office parks from coast to coast. The company does all technology development, marketing, and sales in-house.
Hours: Day shift (start times vary from 5:00 AM - 8:00 AM) with weekend availability required

JOB PURPOSE
An Auto Mechanic fixes vehicles and replaces their parts for customers. Their duties include repairing the vehicle's mechanical components, diagnosing problems with cars/ trucks and performing maintenance work on them as well.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Monitor and audit technician performed services;
- Performs equipment inspections;
- Assists technicians as needed with moving hoses, gathering equipment, rotating tires, and spill clean-up;
- Maintains records of time, materials, and work performed;
- Reset oil lights and update door stickers on rental car fleet;
- Verify that the Preventative Maintenance (PM) is necessary through mileage confirmation;
- Discuss and resolve problems;
- Communicate effectively with technicians, management, and our customers;
- Build positive relationships with employees and customers;
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years oil change or auto mechanic experience
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
- Flexibility in scheduling which may include nights weekends and holidays
WORKING CONDITIONS
This job will involve occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements such as hot and cold temperatures, loud noises, dust/dirt and exhaust fumes. Must be able to work in extreme conditions such as hot and cold weather.
