What are we looking for?
As the public face of the company the Retail Salesperson is responsible for dealing with any and all customer questions about the products and services that we offer. A Retail Salesperson is expected to be continuously updating their knowledge of the products, services, and policies that our company has to offer.
This is a full time sales position working in a fast paced industry. We are currently looking for someone who is dedicated to the job at hand. Our store is open Monday through Saturday, so only apply if you are someone who is willing to work hard to help our business grow.
Customer service is a critical part of this position. This means being able to clearly communicate with all customers effectively to clearly portray the product and services we are selling. Another key responsibility is maintaining the presentation of the sales floor, products, signage, and displays.
Retail Salesperson Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service.
- Managing large financial transactions and financial documents.
- Achieving established sales goals.
- Directing customers to merchandise around the store.
- Increasing store sales by reaching new customers.
- Superior product knowledge.
- Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor.
- Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers.
- Cross-selling products to increase purchase amounts.
Retail Salesperson Requirements:
- A high school diploma.
- Retail sales experience.
- A professional appearance.
- Effective communication skills.
- Effective computer skills with basic knowledge with the internet, Microsoft word and excel.
- Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
- The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Job Types: Full-time, Commission
Pay: $40,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
